For short trips, motorbike taxis and tuk-tuks are everywhere and great for weaving through traffic, while Grab (ride-hailing app) makes it easy to book a car with upfront pricing. Walking is also enjoyable for exploring side streets (sois), where you’ll find cafés, massage shops, and restaurants tucked just a few steps off the main road. If you need to head further out, taxis are readily available, though traffic on Sukhumvit can be heavy during rush hours. Many hotels and residences are within a 5–10 minute walk of the BTS, making it easy to avoid the worst jams.
